CREATIVE DIRECTOR GOOGLE LAB SYDNEY
I work for Google’s Creative Lab in Sydney.
Which is lovely. Now this bit isn’t really terribly significant to my work but I am proudly transgender, faceblind and neurodivergent.

My open letter: http://bit.ly/about_tea
and, a couple of years ago Liz Coleman wrote a perfect profile: https://beta.semipermanent.com/articles/designing-woman
Meanwhile: At the Creative Lab we work on a range of projects but often my team focuses on work with cultural organisations and practitioners to enable artists, writers and performers to look at new ways in which we can use all these remarkable digital tools to make art, theatre and music.
I believe that by experimenting with digital tools in existing cultural practice we can explore new possibilities without losing the tradition, values and intangible qualities that make the arts so valuable to us. I also have a soft spot for books, an obsession with ambient digital, and an opinion on most things.
Google’s Creative Lab is a global collective of creators, developers and film-makers based in New York, London and Sydney who examine the technology that surrounds us and explore the potential of digital tools to make the world a better and more enjoyable place.
