Cova Soto

Cova has been at Google for more than 15 years now in different roles across global, regional and local for both consumer and business.

In her dual role as Senior Country Marketing Director for Spain and Portugal (2023), and Senior Director for Consumer Apps in EMEA (2022), Cova is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of marketing strategies for Google’s consumer apps such Search, Chrome or Gemini as well as all PAs for the Spanish territory (Ads, D&S, Brand and Reputation, etc).  Before that, she was the Global Marketing Director for Growth Lab (2020) and for many years she managed the SMB Acquisitions team globally.

Graduated in Business Administration in ICADE  and with an eMBA from ESCP business School (2011), her professional career started in the Marketing Department of the NBA in Paris (2001)  but quickly jumped into the tech world where she worked at companies like SAP (2002), Skype (2006), and   Monster.com (2007) as a Marketing and E-commerce Director and then moved to lead the Consumer Marketing area of the company (2009).

As part of her hobbies and life outside the office, she loves to play padel and spend time with her husband and 3 children in her beloved Asturias (Spain).
