A pioneer in sustainability, he started working on corporate climate action in 2008, helping global brands understand their main emissions hotspots and design carbon reduction strategies that are both impactful and profitable. Before starting 51-0 Richard was Chief of Business Strategy and Transformation for dentsu media Global, which included responsibility for all Social Impact initiatives. He studied Sustainable Business at Cambridge University and holds an MBA from London Bayes Business School. He lives in London with his wife and two children, but grew up in Milan and is a passionate supporter of AC Milan.
