Daniel is Chief Economist at IAB Europe and and co-founder of a data science company based in London and San Francisco. Previously he was Executive Director at IHS Markit, overseeing the company’s global advertising research and forecasting practice. Daniel is former associated expert at the European Commission on Media and AI. He as acted as evaluator in the EU’s Horizon 2020 programme, is regular guest lecturer in digital marketing at universities across Europe and frequent commentator on trends in digital advertising in the trade press, on TV and radio. Daniel is a board member at the European Institute for Media Law and holds a PhD from the London School of Economics (LSE) on the sociology of algorithms and the datafication of media.
